Stephen and Alan Pigram are legends of the Australian music scene. Hailing from remote Broome – a tiny town in the far northwest of Australia - their calypso sound is widely regarded as "the sound of the Kimberley". They were the first indigenous artists to be inducted into the West Australian Music Hall of Fame in 2006.

Alex Lloyd is one of Australia's most popular rock artists, having sold more than half a million records and being a triple-ARIA Award winner.

The "Mad Bastards Trio" is a stunning collaboration between two of Australia's finest musical talents.

Jed Kurzel is best known as the front man and song writer for the award winning cinematic rock duo The Mess Hall, one of the Australia's most original and dynamic beat combinations. Renowned for their blistering live shows, and the urgency and artistry of their long players, their 2005, release Notes From A Ceiling won an ARIA award for Best Engineer and was included in both Triple J and Rolling Stone's Top 50 Albums of 2005. Their 2006 album, Devil's Elbow was awarded the prestigious 2007 Australian Music Prize. Having released four albums over the course of their career of constantly shifting styles, their most recent album "For The Birds" is a collection of songs that take a sharp turn into a musical terrain that combines voodoo, beatnik soul, funk and rock and roll of the purest kind.

Jed's composition career began several years ago with contributions to several independent short films. He then wrote the score for the critically acclaimed documentary "Naked on the Inside", before composing the music for the Griffin Theatre production "Savage River". His television debut came with the music for the first series of Claudia Karvan's, "Spirited" the second series of which is currently in production with Jed again writing the score. "Snowtown" marks Jed's feature film debut as a composer.

After graduating from Ballarat Grammar School in 1976, David Hirschfelder quickly making waves as a musical prodigy, with 1983 seeing him travel abroad to perform his original works at the Montrieux Jazz Festival. From the mid-80s to early-90s, David became the musical brain behind many of Australia's most successful touring and recording projects, including John Farnham's 1988 CLASSIC JACK tour, featuring the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and the record-breaking JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR arena spectacular in 1992. Also in that year, David's first film-score for Baz Luhrmann's STRICTLY BALLROOM won a BAFTA (British Academy) award. In 1996 David received his first Oscar nomination for his SHINE score and in 1998 a further Oscar nomination for ELIZABETH. Hirschfelder is now recognised globally as Australia's most celebrated and renowned film-score composer. His recent scores include Luhrmann's AUSTRALIA, Zack Snyder's LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS, and James Cameron's SANCTUM.

Screen composer Burkhard Dallwitz was born in 1959 near Frankfurt, Germany and at the age of eight began classical piano training. By thirteen he was writing songs and music and soon after was writing, arranging and performing for various musical groups.

In 1979 Burkhard travelled to Australia and a year later became a permanent resident. There he studied Music at Melbourne's Latrobe University where he majored with Honours in Composition. Since 1984, he has worked as a composer for feature films, television and commercials.
