APRA distributes domestic performance and broadcast royalties four times yearly in February, May, August and November.
Radio, television, cinema, promoted concert, airline, nightclub, online, ringtone, digital download, YouTube, Australian schools, aerobics & fitness, music on hold and background music royalties are paid in February, May, August and November.
Australian churches and New Zealand schools royalties are paid in May and November.
Jingle Reporting Form and Live Performance Return royalties are paid annually in each November.
Domestic distribution threshholds for payments are $1 for writer members receiving online royalty statements, and $10 for publisher members and writer members receiving paper royalty statements.
Royalties for the performance and communication of members’ works overseas are received and analysed throughout the year. Foreign royalties are paid in February, March, May, June, August, September, November and December.
There is a threshhold of $50 in any distribution for writer members residing overseas and paid by draft (overseas cheque) or telegraphic transfer (TT).
