Corporate and industry functions are generally licensed on an event by event basis.
If your event or dinner function is for invited guests, you will need to take out an APRA licence to play copyright music.
You may be required to collect performers’ song lists depending on the scale of the event.
The fee is calculated at 2.2% of your gross expenditure on live performers (if applicable).
Where appropriate, APRA|AMCOS licence fees are subject to an automatic annual adjustment in accordance with the percentage rise in the consumer price index (All Groups Sydney, September Quarter).
