Concerts, festivals, dance parties and other events that are free to the public (ie, no box office or ticket sales) are licensed on an event by event basis.
If the event involves live performers (not including DJs) the licence fee is calculated at 2.2% of your gross expenditure on the performers.
In the case of free dance parties, the licence fee is calculated on the number of people admitted to the party.

Where appropriate, APRA|AMCOS licence fees are subject to an automatic annual adjustment in accordance with the percentage rise in the consumer price index (All Groups Sydney, September Quarter).
