The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) Music Office provides opportunities for ATSI songwriters and composers to develop their talents and build long-term sustainable careers in the local music industry.
APRA|AMCOS supports the ATSI Music Office as recognition of the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music and culture and its relevance to the development of Australian culture.
As an ATSI Songwriter or Composer the ATSI Music Office is there to help support you as career songwriters and composers:
- to ensure that you get the maximum economic benefit from your rights
- provide opportunities for ATSI songwriters and composers to showcase their talents
- build long-term sustainable careers within the Australian music industry
The ATSI Music Office acts as a platform for ATSI artists to showcase their work at a national level, and will be a stepping stone for ATSI songwriters and composers to get exposure, recognition and economic reward for their work.
APRA|AMCOS works with our ATSI Ambassadors and the wider ATSI community to ensure that we provide appropriate and useful service to our members and the ATSI community. Click here to find out more about your ATSI music Ambassadors.
