2012 Blue Mountains Battle of the Bands

Commencing on Friday May 25th, this prestigious music event is the top band competition for the Blue Mountains and neighbouring regions. Presented by 89.1 Radio Blue Mountains in association with the Hotel Gearin, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with recording time in professional studios, photo shoots, song development programmes and musical equipment being just some of the prizes offered.

We are still accepting entries, so if you’re in a band with 2 or more members, perform more than 50% original material, are able to travel to Katoomba for one heat, one semi and if you’re good enough, the Grand Final on July 27, then why not give it a shot? There are no stylistic limits and you don’t have to live in the Mountains to qualify. Plus entry into the competition is free.

Application forms and details can be accessed at
