Sounds Australia is the public face representing a collective of interested parties made up of Government Agencies, Industry Association, Commercial Companies and others with a genuine interest in working together, all partnering to support Australians’ export activities in key markets.
We are a central unified brand whose goal is to help Australian musicians and artists pursue their dreams on the global stage. We act as a liason between various industry groups and develop partnerships to increase exposure of the Australian music industry.
Our mission is to facilitate the introduction of buyers of music with those that are sellers. Some of our initiatives include organization around trade shows and music festivals, export coaching and advice, the usage of new technologies to increase awareness of Australian music, and partnering with entertainment related companies that can give Australian exporters wider exposure.
