APRA|AMCOS and Q Music present an information session for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) Songwriters and Musicians. So if you're an established musician/songwriter or just starting out, come along to hear from experienced industry professionals.

Session includes:

  • APRA|AMCOS information – How APRA & AMCOS can support your career as a songwriter and ensure that you maximise your royalties.
  • Introduction to the APRA ATSI office and how the office can help you.
  • Q Music information www.qmusic.com.au
  • Overview of the Queensland Music Awards Indigenous Award
  • Artist question session on the record industry, management, copyright, publicity, publishing, radio play, getting gigs and getting your music out there
