Half Way To Forth (SA) - http://www.myspace.com/halfwaytoforth
Halfway to Forth blend different styles of roots music into their own brand of earthy, homegrown and honest songwriting. Brothers Dan & Kyle deliver tight vocal harmonies, banjo driven ballads & toe tapping grooves for all ages. November 2009 saw their debut release, a 7 track EP entitled "Treasure for Memories". They've since kept busy with a move to Adelaide in early 2010, followed by extensive gigging in their new state while also playing a number of festivals and shows around Australia.
Rin (SA) - http://www.facebook.com/rin.and.the.reckless?ref=tsWith lyrics that could pull at every heart string and a rare honesty, at the tender age of 22, Adelaide singer/songwriter Rin McArdle has become a rising star in her own right. Already having played alongside rock icons Diesel and The Trews (Canada), Rin never fails to captivate and evoke.

Gemini Downs (SA) - http://www.myspace.com/geminidowns
Sometimes, Gemini Downs are a raucous seven piece gracing Triple J airwaves and national television, but it all began with the natural brother sister combination of Sean and Jessica Braithwaite. The siblings' earthy catchiness and raw beauty shine through stunningly in rare acoustic performances – a true treat for audiences.

Southie (SA) - www.myspace.com/southiemusic
“like a conversation two people would have in the corner of a pub at 11 at night” - Dom Alessio (triple j)
Since the release the debut EP 'Nobody Out There' in 2010, Southie has established itself as an indie folk staple on the local Adelaide music scene. With a collection of truly varied and edgy acoustic folk pop songs, complementing male and female vocals with contrasting brightness and darkness, Southie delivers a intimate live performance that will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

Johnny McIntyre (SA) - http://www.myspace.com/johnnymcintyre_music
Adelaide roots artist Johnny McIntyre brings to your ears a taste of country, old folk, blues and seventies rock recordings. His recently released EP “Fight the fear” presents stripped back stories which explore the power of silence and dynamics in music. Highlights of Johnny’s musical travels include performing at the 2010 Adelaide International Guitar Festival, the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Skinny Fish's ten year anniversary on Elcho Island.

Jess Rebeiro & The Bone Collectors (VIC) - http://www.myspace.com/jessribeirobonecollectors
Jess Ribeiro and Rob Law formed as an acoustic duo in early 2008 and have since traveled the country supporting esteemed country/folk artists including the Waifs, Mama Kin, Charlie Parr (US) and Darren Hanlon. Their sound has a distinct raw energy that takes the listener on a journey through dark and dusty ballads that have been compared to the likes of Karen Dalton, Cat Power, Neil Young and Johnny Cash.

Melody Feder Duo (SA) - http://www.melodyfeder.com
Local Adelaide Singer/songwriter, Melody Feder is fast becoming one the country’s most promising up and coming talents winning many prestigious awards. Her style is alt country/folk.
