This Connecting Members meeting is a must for singer/songwriters and musicians! We have invited three expert speakers who will focus on areas of the music industry which will help you to maximize your income. It is our pleasure to introduce Mark Muggeridge, Debbie Pearce and Jordan Reyne who each have insider knowledge into specific areas of the UK music industry:

Mark Muggeridge: The 10 People, Services or Websites you need to know about to kick start 2012
A break neck paced presentation that aims to give you in 10 minutes some inspiration for marketing and supercharging your artist development in the New Year.

Mark Muggeridge works with developing artists to help them break-through in the competitive UK music business. He also works with leading UK music business daily, Record of the Day giving him a unique insight into all aspects of the music business.

Debbie Pearce: Royalty Streams for Performers in the UK
With a vast experience in the music industry, Debbie Pearce is an expert in royalty streams for singer- songwriters and musicians. Debbie will be guiding you through the concept or Performer Royalties and how this can translate into income for singers and musicians, particularly via PPL in the UK.

Debbie joined the music industry in 1981, starting out in A&R at Arista Records. She then went on to work as a publisher for 18 years, starting at Warner Chappell and then ending up as Director of International Communications and Marketing at Polygram and then Universal’s music publishing divisions. Debbie continues to hand out music publishing advice to anyone who’ll listen and now conducts PPL registration audits to ensure that hard working musicians are receiving the money they so richly deserve.

Jordan Reyne: Gigs in Cyberspace!
Did you know that it’s possible to reach an international audience from performing your music online? Not only that, you can get paid to do so, sell your music internationally, and even earn a living doing it. Guest speaker, Jordan Reyne, talks about how to set yourself up to perform to a potentialaudience of millions from the comfort of home, using only an internet connection and a modest audio setup. From broadcast websites such as Stageit, to virtual realities such as Second Life, Jordan shares what has become her profession as well as passion. Jordan is a multi award nominated musician with 6 internationally acclaimed album releases to her credit, who has lent her vocal talents to projects from Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" to Zane Lowes band "Breaks Co-op" and Cafe Del Mar.
