Songwriter Speaks delves into the body of work of one of Australia’s iconic and beloved song writers, David McComb. David's songs such as "Bury Me Deep in Love" "Wide Open Road" and "Raining Pleasure" continue to inspire artists and audiences alike. This session will take an intimate look at some of David’s deeply resonant songs and discuss some of the experiences behind them through the eyes of his fellow musicians and band members.
Participating in the discussion will be Alsy McDonald and Graham Lee from The Triffids, as well as Phil Kakulas (founding member of The Triffids, The Blackeyed Susans). Clare Hedger will join us as moderator.
APRA is a proud supporter of the Queenscliff Music Festival.
