The Jessica Michalik Contemporary Music Endowment was established in 2000 by the producers of the Big Day Out. The endowment is given in memory of Jessica Michalik, who was a passionate music fan and aspired to work in the music industry.
Prize
Administered as part of the APRA Professional Development Award program, the Jessica Michalik Contemporary Music Endowment will provide a promising Australian songwriter or group with a development grant of $10,000.
Requirements
In addition to the Terms & Conditions, please note that for all applications:
- If you submitting your Application by post, please send directly to Creative Festival Entertainment [details on Application Form]. APRA|AMCOS will not accept nominations directly.
- Incomplete Nomination Documents will not be accepted for consideration. If you do not include all checklisted items, your submission will be deemed incomplete.
- Your Application must be accompanied by a CD (if submitted by post) or mp3 music files (if submitted online). Each CD must contain only three (3) works that you wish to be considered. If submitting online, you may only include three (3) mp3 files.
- Lyrics must be supplied. These hard copy materials will only be returned if accompanied by a stamped self-addressed envelope.
