We have been working closely with the fitness industry and have established a strong and collaborative relationship. Following discussions with Fitness Australia late last year, the fitness industry can be assured that the current APRA fee structure will remain the same until March 2011 regardless of the PPCA case that is currently before the Copyright Tribunal. We are committed to striking the right balance between the needs of the fitness industry and providing equitable compensation to songwriters for use of their music in businesses.
Unless otherwise specified, all APRA|AMCOS licences are offered on an annual basis. Where appropriate, fees are subject to an automatic annual adjustment in accordance with the percentage rise in the consumer price index (All Groups Sydney, September Quarter).
