APRA Ambassadors

APRA's Ambassador Program fosters increased understanding of creators’ rights and the value of collective administration.

“Our members are the reason we exist and our greatest resource. The APRA Ambassador Program will play an important role in promoting the importance of music creators’ rights and APRA’s role in administering those rights to all levels of government, the media and the wider community.” Sally Howland, Director, Member Services APRA|AMCOS and Ambassador Program Sponsor.

Launched in 2009, the APRA Ambassador Program aims to

  • foster increased understanding of APRA’s role and the scope of our activities to the membership and the wider public
  • improve APRA’s awareness and understanding of issues facing our membership
  • build a community of Australian songwriters and composers

In collaboration with our network of Ambassadors, we are working to educate and galvanise support from the wider APRA membership, the music community and the general public, on issues that impact songwriters and composers.

Our ambassadors feature as representatives at music industry events, workshops and seminars, in media campaigns and in meetings with industry and government.  They are here to provide direct feedback on key issues that affect APRA members and the wider music industry.
