BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL PERFORMING ARTS FELLOWSHIPS
A maximum grant of $20,000 is available to support young and emerging artists (between 17 and 30 years of age as of the closing date) to participate in national or international training and development programs that support their career development. Applicants must be nominated by an individual or organisation from within the arts and cultural sector. The fellowship activity can include travel and study, secondment to an organisation, tuition, professional mentoring and instruction or a combination of these activities. Grants recipients will be asked to identify with Council opportunities to showcase the benefits of the fellowship in Brisbane. This may include participation in a city events program, contribution to an exhibition or a presentation. Applications are being sought for music touring from 1 July 2008 through the Australian Government's Contemporary Music Touring Program.
