Turning up the volume on Australian Music
APRA|AMCOS's own Millie Millgate will be at the helm of the Aussie presence at the 2009 international music conference, South by South West 2009.
Proudly supported by the Australia Council for the Arts, Austrade and APRA|AMCOS, Sounds Australia is a collective of Federal and State government agencies, Industry Associations, commercial companies and others. What we have in common is a genuine passion for Australian music and a commitment to working together to support export activities in key markets.
At SxSW 09, Sounds Australia presents a range of opportunities for delegates to meet home grown talent and hear the great music they have to offer.
SOUNDS AUSTRALIA STAND

Our friendly experts are on hand to field your questions, so drop by and learn everything there is to know about the Australian music market, key events and local industry.
WHO THE HELL? PARTY
When: Wednesday 18 March
Where: Lucky Lounge, 209 A, West 5th Street
Why: Homegrown Djs, Aussies and great wine! Kick off your SXSW experience by meeting the Australians as they gather together to plan their sound assault on Austin.

SOUNDS AUSTRALIA HOUSE

Why: Just around the corner from the Brits and joining them in establishing an Embassy Row in Austin Texas, Sounds Australia House will present a full day party and stellar evening program, showcasing only premier Australian talent. The Sounds Australia House will also host a networking breakfast for Australian delegates to meet with key industry, including Festival promoters, Booking agents and music supervisors from around the globe.
