Push Songs: Write those Winter blues away!

The innovative, inspiring and free for all ages songwriter's program, Push Songs returns for the Winter edition, July 24 to August 29.

Twelve applicants will be chosen to take part in three, one-on-one, 90-minute song writing workshops to develop their song writing skills with Charles Jenkins as well as two special guest songwriters including Adalita, Mark Seymour, Kim Salmon and Lisa Miller.

Participants from all corners of the state of Victoria of any age are encouraged to apply for the Brunswick-based program managed by The Push and APRA and supported by Arts Victoria and the Australia Council.

Established in 2009, Push Songs acknowledges the artistic, creative and long term career impact that passing on experience, skills, ideas, knowledge, encouragement, confidence and inspiration brings to the songwriter. Push Songs is a significant link in the music industry in that it takes a dedicated songwriter and their initial song ideas and offers creative, practical advice and support from creation to completion.
