The staff of APRA|AMCOS extend their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Clive Shakespeare, who sadly passed away on Wednesday 15 February at the age of 62.
An APRA member since 1973, Shakespeare was the lead guitarist and founding member of iconic Australian pop group Sherbert, co-writing their first #1 single Summer Love along with Slipstream, You've Got The Gun, Cassandra and Silvery Moon.
After leaving Sherbert in 1976, he was involved in record production - most notably, Paul Kelly's first solo record Post.
